課程概述

The aim of the course is to acquire the elementary Level (A2, 初高級) of Spanish of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Accordingly, the students are expected: “(1) to understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment); (2) to communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. (3) to describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.” The fourth hour of the week will be devoted to Conversation, following the materials of the course “Spanish Conversation I”. 課程目標
To achieve the above-mentioned objectives these classes focus in listening, reading comprehension, grammar, short compositions, and conversation. In principle, one teaching assistant (TA) will help the students in their needs. 
課程要求
The students should have passed the course Spanish I (1).
The course will be restricted to 35 freshman students.
The course is addressed to students from the Department of Social Science, but other students can be accepted.
